About Cool Run Honey Bee Supplies
Cool Run Honey Bee Supplies is located on a family owned farm near Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The bee portion of the farm is surrounded by fields of hay, wheat, and corn. The farm has been in our family for over 100 years. The name of our business was taken from Cool Run Creek, a small tributary that flows through the family farm on it's path to the NC Intracoastal Waterway.
Cool Run Honey Bee Supplies was established by my wife and I and opened for business in 2008. It began as a hobby with only two hives in the back yard. The two hives quickly grew in number as did the need for supplies to keep things going. It was at this point that the business was formed. We began stocking and selling supplies using our established automotive parts business of thirty five years [Fulwood's Auto Service & Towing] as the store front. Though working with bees still remains a hobby at heart, our business serves to provide a local outlet to purchase both local honey and supplies.
We continue to expand the business and grow the inventory. We have a complete line of supplies for the beginner as well as the seasoned bee keeper.
